Speech Enhancement and Night Sound are two great features available on your Sonos PLAYBAR and PLAYBASE that are designed to make your home theater experience more enjoyable. Both options are off by default, but can be enabled by tapping their respective icons on the Now Playing screen for your PLAYBAR. If the setting isn’t visible, make sure the room with the PLAYBAR or PLAYBASE is selected.

Note: These options are only visible on the Now Playing screen when watching TV content.

 Speech Enhancement boosts the audio frequencies associated with the human voice. Turning this feature on will make dialogue easier to hear, which can be especially useful during action movies.

 Night Sound is most useful when watching TV at low volumes, such as late at night. It will make the dialogue more clear, while reducing the intensity of loud sounds.
